State v. FT

F.T. fell victim to a common set of circumstances we see with our client. We represent a significant number of men and women falsely accused of Domestic Assault. Oftentimes, a vindictive partner will use the police and justice system as a weapon. Unfortunately, even with little to no evidence other than the alleged victim’s word, prosecutors in Minnesota file charges.

F.T. had the courage to stand up for himself and fight these false allegations. We scheduled a trial. On the eve of trial, when the prosecutor reevaluated the case and the evidence we presented, he realized he could not prove F.T.’s guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. The prosecutor dismissed all charges.
