State v. CS

I recently represented CS on charges of Misdemeanor Fourth Degree DWI in Anoka County. CS had a relatively low breath test result, but the test result was still over the legal limit. After carefully reviewing the arresting officer’s body camera footage, we decided to challenge the stop, whether the officer had reasonable and articulable suspicion to expand the scope of the stop by asking him out of the vehicle, and whether the officer had probable cause to arrest him.  CS was adamant we should fight the case. After a lengthy fight over the course of many months, all charges were dismissed!
